ok prob tu da selesai ;D PHPMyAdmin dah ley run.. skang nie nak install PHPbb2 plak tatau.. sesape ley tlg?? plzz, saya xnak la blaja separuh jln je. alang2 biar sampai berjaya kan!! kekeke assalamualaikum wrt wbt hi turtlebeach, jangan risau saya tahu apa masalah yang awak hadapi. dulu saya ambil masa almost a week just nak configure/ installation. letih memanglah tak terkata, tu tak campur tension lagi tu. takpe, dulu saya pernah jumpa problem ini. bila tray nak install, it seems mcm ok, tapi kat tengah2 tak boleh nak connect to database. senang jek ni nak selesaikan. apa kata, turtlebeach dtg office saya, seelok2nya hari jumaat dalam pukul 11.00 pagi, then saya tunjuk satu 'prototype' yang saya dah uploadkan and considered as intranetlah. you check, apa yang berlaku. sbb masalah terjadi sbb incompatibility pada .... cthnya username, database name, password etc. tu jek problemnya.... nanti saya tunjuk cara yang betul. kalau masih ingat lah. Ok, then kalau dah ok. saya nak awak buat report sikit kat sini, so semua orang boleh baca cara2 nak install phpbb2 (ambil phpbb2 plus lagi bagus).... dengan betul.. ---> www.phpbb2.de untuk download phpbb2 plus ttg, appserv tu betul kata mr. ikod. somehow macam phptriad... tapi frankly speaking saya tak pernah try lagi. anyway, TQ for the information. that's all at the moment i think. selamat mencuba. terima kasih. wassalam. regards azwan mohamed |

good try...but you'll face problem in connecting the database... go and ask mr.azwan for more detail..or me!! he2. ::)it seems that we have php and mysql learner. GOOD LUCK!!  |

jom belajar CMS.... bes woooooo!!! trai laa... it like php nuke but...more advance. try and go www.hotscripts.com then go to php and select CMS...dia ade banyak choices..take and trai install it. |

saya da cuba phpdev. so far x de prob lagi.cuma yg ade prob ialah phpbb. saya dah run apache & type http://localhost/_LPHPBB/login.php kart web browser. tapi dia tulis nie pulakk.. Not Found

ntuk pengetahuan saya letak folder phpbb2 dlm c:/AppServ/www . btul ke dir tu atau phpbb letak di folder lain?
soalan ke.2 btul ke PHPbb tu nak kene setup dari awal version cth : phbbb v.1 --> v.1.2 atau boleh install terus dari pbpbb yg baru, pasal ade satu forum tu suruh install version dari yg awal mengikut turutan.
yg nie saya paste dari sebuah forum berbahasa melayu

Install phpBB
+ Memula download phpBB v2.0.4 - 2.0.6 (bukan phpBB Plus). Korang boleh pilih versi yang mana korang nak pakai. Sebaiknya gunakan versi terkini kerana ia telah diperbaiki drp bugs. Tapi aku lebih refer pakai yang lama lagi...
+ Masukkan folder phpBb tu ke dalam root webserver korang (C:\EasyPHP\www). Skang nie phpBB korang berada dalam dir C:\EasyPHP\www\phpBB (korang boleh tukar nama folder phpBB tu ikut korang suka seperti forum, komuniti, sembang dll). Tutorial kali ini menamakan folder tersebut sebagai phpBB
+ Lepas tu korang run apache (EasyPHP) korang.
+ Then, bukak browser korang dan taipkan Http://localhost/phpBB (jika korang namakan folder tu sebagai forum, taipkan url Http://localhost/forum). Anda akan dibawa ke halaman phpBB installation seperti imej seperti di bawah:
mereka menggunakan easyphp ntuk setup phpbb2.
apa beza antara easyphp dengan Appserv. kerana selama nie saya guna AppServ.

1. ok try to find folder named config.php. kat situ cari database name, database password. change it !!....
2. u kena setup database dia kat mysql... cari file *.sql dan copy semua dan paste kat http://localhost/phpmyadmin. ok!! ;D

like this ....first you should copy folder phpbb2 into www. then open browser type http://localhost/phpbb2. pastu baru nak interface phpbb2. it ask for your database name, username, password...... ok !! and then go to localhost/phpbb2/install/schemas/ choose mysql_schema and mysql_basic. copy and paste kat http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ . before that you should create new database and paste code tadi. click go.
go back http://localhost/phpbb2 dan namakan database name username dan password.... GOOD LUCK php man!!!!

salam,
nampak mcm komplikated skit. takpelah u buat dulu. saya x pernah try guna appserv. tapi berdasarkan apa yang u buat tu sama kaedah kalau kita install phpbb dalam linux.
sorilah tak brapa sure ttg tu. tapi kalau phptriad ... Insha-Allah saya boleh. kalau dah reti kita share lah nanti, kita discuss mana yang lebih mudah utk beginners.
satu lagi apa kata kita buat satu komuniti, tak perlu ramai (tak lebih 10 org) kita boleh buat something everyweek....php, linux, phpbb2, web, multimedia, etc).... ikod, turtlebeach, greenmoon and antilamers.... tapi tak sure lagi... hopefully jadi. kita start next sem.

thanx a lot for the promotion. it doesn't matter wheater we are an ordinary user or moderator etc. the most important thing is the quality of posting itself....
tak guna kalau byk post msgs, tapi tak memberi menfaat ... nak buat apa kan!
