there are a lot of applications that we can use to develop portal/ forum. the most famous nowadays is phpbb2. the latest version is 2.0.5. what is phpbb2? <-----------> juz log on to www.phpbb2.de <----> for further information. guys, believe me... this is an interesting area to be explored. try lah. regards mujahid |

Why we are not using phpbb2 if it is the latest version?.Ahh.. it's nice to have a new forum, but i dont think that the ppl that was registered for the previous forum will satisfy with this upgrading.hehe..lazy to register back.Lets foruming guys, starts the new era for our college with a good ethique.

is that cgi and php diffrent thing, is not my mistaked
cgi is one of linux and php developed by microsoft...
i think this forum is good... i just explorer that php site
phpbb2 is one of free forum provided.....

salam,
i've been using multi-OS since last couple of years. in the next 5 years i'm planning to shift totally to OSS i.e. either Mandrake or redhat.
currently, i'm using both XP and mandrake 9.0. to know more about OSS, u guys can ask mr. danish, mr. harun, mr. kamal, mr. azwan, mr. imran and miss asma. or else u can simply visit google and type those words.
